About
Morton Academy has been part of Morton Community Unit School District 709 since 2016. Our goal is to serve as both a provider and an advocate for the education of all children. We offer a curriculum designed to meet the social-emotional, academic, and behavioral needs of our students. Students participate in daily SEL lessons, weekly visits to the Morton Public Library, and monthly community outings to support real-world learning and social-emotional development. Students participate in music class twice a week, and PE class five times a week that is provided by Morton 709 staff. Students have access to all services provided in all the community schools in Morton 709. Go Huskies!
